Thick lines I must have used a "thin" Crayola marker to draw this page. This is probably one of the ugliest pages I drew. Except for the top half of the page, everything is squeezed into a 3x3 grid of panels. I probably planned to do that first and then realized that I couldn't do anything other than close-ups in panels that size. The drawings of Pencilcutioner and Penciltary show my first attempt at detail and shading. Obviously, I still needed more practice. I really hate that 3x3 grid. "Here's a story, of a lovely lady, who was bringing up three very lovely girls. All of them had hair of gold, like their mother, the youngest one in a Mexican wrestler mask." So apparently 20 years ago I predicted that they'd re-make King Kong. Or not. In any case, this "idea" that Compactor has is one of the only scenes that the new characters get.
